Christmas Care Packages for Homebound Parishoners

We are collecting items early this year in order to have the packages ready by the second week in December.

Help us prepare a "We Care Package" for our homebound parishoners by contributing socks for 30 mentally ill people in group homes, slipper socks, candy, sugarless candy for the diabetics and fresh fruit for some of the homebound, also small personal care items, and the little things you would enjoy if you were homebound.

A new man who wears 4x could use some T-shirts and a coat as well.

A marked box will be in the narthex for all those who want to contribute. This will be there for the next four Sundays.

Hats and Scarves

We will again be collecting hats and scarves for the homeless this year. Eight scarves need 1 1/2 yards of fleece fabric and eight hats need 2 yards of fleece fabric. If you have a computer and would like to download the patterns and directions go to the website listed below.

Patterns and directions will also be available in the church narthex.

All hats and scarves need to be brought to the church by December 10th. They can be dropped off at the parish center during the week and in room 6 in the school during the weekends.

For more info please contact Francis Kennedy at 503-761-6403.

Prayer Chain Meeting

The Prayer Chain will meet Tuesday, November 21st from 9:00 am - 10:00 am in the Social Room.

Everyone in the parish is invited to attend and join us as we pray for those who are ill and have requested prayer support.

We will continue our new book "Sacred Necessities, Gifts for Living With Passion, Purpose, and Grace" by Terry Hersey.

There will be refreshments after the meeting.
